I have been a visual artist and educator in Vermont for over 15 years. Born and raised in central New Jersey, I moved to Vermont in 2009 to explore the beauty of the Green Mountain state, and to pursue a career in Art Education.

Both New Jersey and Vermont have influenced my direction as an artist, with a love of community art, music, travel, spirituality, nature, and architecture being the foundation of my inspiration. I love working to see a vision come to life, and using creativity to enhance the world around me. I have a B.A. in Art with a painting concentration, and a M.A. in Arts Administration. I have taught a variety of art courses, and have exhibited work throughout the state.

I look forward to continuing my journey as an artist as I explore new creative projects.

You Imagine, I Create.

Being an artist is more than a skill; it is an aesthetic point of view developed through years of dedication, exploration, perseverance, and practice; it is a mindset, a way of life, a way of viewing the world with more awareness, empathy, and most importantly, curiosity.

Commissioned work allows me to help someone's vision come to life through my original artwork. Initial sketches, conversation on style preferences, understanding project goals - I love the process of designing for others. Some highlights for me have been creating hand-painted signs, artwork for weddings, a series of architectural inspired ink illustrations, and several set paintings for a local playhouse. Each of these allowed me to explore a different style, subject, and purpose - a challenge I find incredibly rewarding.

Painting Abstraction.

In my abstract work, unique materials and approaches inspire me to create physical representations of experience and emotion. When I create, I feel part of “the flow,” allowing creative decisions to evolve organically in response to the materials I am working with. Each painting emerges as I explore form, color, texture, and balance. Process is a meditative journey inward, leading to an outward expression. I see each canvas as having its own character, coming alive through the artistic journey. These canvases each carry a personal message appearing through calligraphy, woven lines, interacting forms, symbols, and sometimes other-worldly designs. My artwork seeks to visually explore what it means to be human, and what connects us all - across land, country, and culture.
